Our story is one you might not expect. Valor Payments was founded by the Principals of Valor Development, a real estate development company that builds mixed-use and retail properties. After hearing the stories of challenges that Valor's retail tenants had experienced with their merchant account service providers, the team quickly realized there was an opportunity to provide something better for their own commercial and retail tenants, and faith-based and charitable partners.

By providing improved service to their tenants and partners, it created a stronger relationship, and subsequently a better overall real estate project. 

As time went on, these relationships grew to other retailers and business owners outside of Valor Development’s own tenant base. As these relationships grew, so did the product and service offering of Valor Payments.
